At St Augustine’s we believe at its heart, Family Community Partnerships is about relationships.  We strive to ensure that our teachers and support staff make our families feel welcome by listening to and honouring the stories, culture, traditions and relationships of the family and the community.  It is crucial that our teachers connect families to what is happening in their classrooms; this is the essential link – families having a voice in this learning partnership as we work together to create positive attitudes to learning.

Our College meets with Parent Representatives of each year level once per term to explore:

  • Communicating with the College;

  • Connecting learning at home and school;

  • Building a strong community and identity;

  • Acknowledging the role of the family in student learning;

  • Contributing to the Vision and Mission of the College;

  • Participating in and leading College events.

If you would be interested in taking on a role as Parent Representative, please contact Mrs Rachelle Chapman.
