Our Faith

At St Augustine’s College we have a shared understanding that to be an authentic Catholic community is to be truly inclusive. St Augustine’s College is a place where students and families are made to feel welcome and where diversity is celebrated. We believe that each person is created in the image and likeness of God. We pride ourselves on developing right relationships that respect the dignity of all. 

Our Catholic faith is always oriented toward Jesus Christ and the message that is proclaimed in the Gospel. We draw on the examples of Saint Augustine of Hippo, Saint Brigid of Kildare and Bishop Daniel Delany, who have shown us how to live as dedicated followers of Jesus. 

Our Catholic faith is visible through important symbols around the College and expressed through sacred rituals. Our Catholic faith finds its fullest expression however, in the everyday interactions between our staff, students and families. Each interaction gives witness to our faith and leads us to the hope-filled future that belief in the Resurrection provides.
